Amplify x Altadena Girls: Creativity, Community, and Free February Workshops

At Amplify Arts Project, we’re always looking for ways to expand creative access and build supportive spaces for young people through music, media, and the arts. This February, we’re excited to be collaborating with Altadena Girls to offer a series of free creative workshops designed to help young girls explore new skills, express themselves, and connect in community.

Altadena Girls has created a welcoming hub in Pasadena focused on dignity, healing, and belonging for teen girls impacted by recent fires. Their commitment to community care aligns beautifully with Amplify’s mission to empower young people through creativity and mentorship. Together, we’re bringing hands-on arts and music programming directly into a space built for support, growth, and expression.

Final Showcase ★ February 28

We’ll wrap up the month with a community creative showcase on:

February 28 · 6–10 PM
225 E Colorado Blvd (Where everything takes place!)

Expect local youth bands, creative projects from workshop participants, and a celebration of everything built throughout February. Each week builds toward the final showcase, so participants can see their ideas come to life in a real event setting. This event is open to all genders and all ages, so families, friends, and community members are welcome and encouraged to come!!!

Why We’re Excited

Creative spaces can build confidence, connection, and joy — especially during times when young people need community most. This collaboration is about access, empowerment, and making sure youth, and young girls especially, have opportunities to explore who they are creatively while feeling supported along the way.

We can’t wait to create together this month — and we hope to see you there 🤍
