FAQs
Our only pick up and drop off locations are Beverly Hills High School and LAX.
Please contact a director when you have decided to purchase this type of ticket to ensure we can accommodate your request. Unaccompanied minor tickets require one of our staff to provide their information for your airline ahead of time in order to go through security and meet your camper at the gate on arrival, and remain with them until their flight departs.
Campers departing with an unaccompanied minor ticket must have a flight leaving LAX between 2-5PM. We do not have staff who are able to remain with your camper beyond 5PM.
Guardians are responsible for making reservations and ticket purchases for all unaccompanied minor tickets. Any and all fees for unaccompanied minor services must be paid by the parent/guardian at the time of booking.
With most airlines, kids who are old enough to attend Amplify are permitted to fly alone. This this varies from airline to airline. Please contact the airline regarding their regulations.
Prior to their campers boarding their flight, parents/guardians will be provided with our staff’s contact info so they can always check in on pick-up status, etc. We encourage you to share this number with your campers so they can text the shuttle driver when they land. Amplify staff will meet your camper at their baggage claim and escort them to the shuttle. Once we have picked up your camper, we will text you to let you know.
We encourage it! They will hand over their phone once they have let you know they are safe and sound with the shuttle driver and are ready to start camp! We will hold onto their phone until departure and make sure all phones are fully charged and ready for their flight home.
Yes. We love when we have several kids flying in from the same area and we can arrange to get them all on the same flight, if possible. Please contact us ASAP if your camper will be flying in so we can try to coordinate our campers’ flights and shuttle windows accordingly. You can also join the parent facebook group or join one of our pre camp zooms at the first Monday of the month and try coordinate there.
Yes. There will always be Amplify staff accompanying the campers for arrival and departure to and from camp.
Please contact us ASAP to arrange special pickup/drop off times, keeping in mind that your camper may miss out on some key first day activities, or the closing showcase performance.
Please contact your shuttle driver if this change occurs while your camper is enroute. Otherwise, contact a director at (805) 861-8128 as soon as you are aware of the flight change. We can accommodate reasonable delays in arrival and departures, but significant delays can result in added fees, or rebooking your camper with a different transportation service.
