Applications are now open for our Fall 2026 Teaching Artist Residency at Blue Sky Center. This paid, three-week residency invites female and non-binary artists of any discipline to teach K–12 students in California’s Cuyama Valley while developing a community-engaged art project.

Residency Dates: October 31 – November 22, 2026
Application Deadline: July 31, 2026 (11:59 PM PST)

We welcome regional artists with teaching experience who are passionate about community-based creative work. Lodging is provided; participants must have access to reliable transportation.
