Imagine sitting down behind your drum set, Put in your ear plugs and pick up your sticks; your drum instructor is ready to teach you the basic beat or 16th note 4-limb independence! From day one, drummers learn how to contribute unique beats and collaborate successfully with band mates on writing an original song to perform at the end of session showcase! This is a great choice for beginner to intermediate drummers. No experience necessary—campers join youth their age for drum lessons and band practice, while advanced players can join our Rock Band Intensive. Note: campers still get to try other arts through our minors – she can still learn music production or take a film minor if she wants.
New to drums or building your skills? Join our beginner/intermediate drums track for daily small-group lessons and afternoon band practice where you’ll write and perform an original song. Been playing for 2+ years? Check out our immersive Rock Band Intensive for more advanced drummers focused on covers and original music.

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m a drummer and drum instructor originally from Seattle, WA who has toured and recorded with bands from San Francisco and New York City. I’m am now pursuing a teaching degree and writing original music. Expect a debut EP this year!

we provide all the equipment needed, but you are always welcome to bring your instrument to camp.
Absolutely. We meet the youth right where they are at. Our classes are filtered by age and experience. So they will always be with their same age group no matter what level they come in at.
No. In all our workshops kids stay in groups with their peers.
Yes! If you choose, drums, for example as your immersive you will be in small group drum classes in the morning and band in the afternoon where you will write an original song getting ready to perform it at the end of your session in our showcase.
Anyone, at any level, can sign up for drums. The small group lessons are super fun in the morning and you will still get to spend your afternoons playing in a band, however if you have 3+ years on your instrument and want to have band in the morning where you learn covers and band in the afternoon where you write originals – check out Rock Band Intensive.
