Music Summer Camp: Rock Band Intensive

REQUIRES 2+ YEAR(S) OF PROFICIENCY ON 2+ INSTRUMENT(S) ★ ALL EQUIPMENT PROVIDED

This is our answer to the call for more time in band practice! Kids in RBI should have at least two years of experience playing their instrument. Our talented and creative multi instrumentalist band coach takes experienced musicians to the next level of songwriting, how to be a good band mate, and helps campers independently improve their instrument skills and even learn how to play multiple instruments. With band practice twice a day, campers will have time to write multiple songs and learn some cover songs! Check out the incredible benefits and skills of being in a band on our blog.

Meet Shannon, Rock Band Intensive Instructor

Hi! I’m Shannon from Derry in the North of Ireland. I’ve been playing in bands since I was 12 and I set up the Girls Rock! chapter in Belfast Ireland in 2016. I first came to Amplify in 2018 and my band is called Sister Ghost! I started as the Guitar Instructor and Band Coach and now I’m a Rock Band Intensive instructor – it’s such an awesome job and I can’t wait to meet this year’s campers.
