Legends are the heart of Amplify: bold, curious, and ready to shape their own experience.
This program gives 9th–10th graders more choice, more freedom, and more ways to make an impact — all in a community that has your back every step of the way.
You’ll get the space to explore who you are as an artist, leader, and friend — and the trust to make camp your own.
Campers grow and evolve every year… and their camp experience should grow with them! Every aspect of Amplify’s Legends program is fine-tuned to meet older campers where they’re at — giving them new privileges, more freedom, and opportunities to lead while still having a blast.

Creative Freedom: Build your own schedule with two electives each day — explore new skills or go deeper into your passions.

Immersive Mastery: Spend two dedicated immersive blocks each day refining your craft in music, film, theatre, or art.

Exclusive Night Adventures: Glow-in-the-dark capture the flag, stargazing parties, night hikes, and outdoor movies — Legends-only experiences.

Mentorship & Leadership: Inspire younger campers (3rd–8th grade) and serve as role models in the Amplify community.

Camp Hackathon: Collaborate in small teams to brainstorm real solutions for camp challenges — creativity meets leadership.

Event Leadership: MC the talent show, plan the mid-session dance party, and help shape Amplify’s culture.

Ready to go next level?
For high schoolers who want to push their craft further, Amplify offers optional Pro Challenges — individualized creative projects guided by expert mentors.
Campers who opt in can:
🎶 Develop a polished portfolio piece or original performance
🎭 Prepare for college auditions or creative applications
🎨 Work one-on-one with a mentor in music, film, fashion, or visual arts
It’s completely optional — the same schedule, the same fun — just a chance to deepen your art and take your creativity further.

Legends enjoy later lights-out than younger campers, giving them extra space to connect and unwind at the end of the day.

Legends have more independence than ever — with guidance from trained staff who encourage self-direction, safety, and collaboration. Campers are housed by grade level, placed with peers who share their interests (using their Camper Get-to-Know-You form), and friend requests are always guaranteed.
Phones stay safely stored during camp so campers can stay fully immersed and connected in real life.
Meet Bridget, Minor Instructor and PM Counselor
Hi, I’m Bridget! I will be one of the PM counselors this summer! I am from Seattle, Washington. I am currently a student at Washington State University, where I am studying Public Relations. In my free time I love to go see live music, DJ for my school’s radio station, sing in choir, and watch movies. I am so excited about the opportunity to work at a camp that is all about empowering campers and helping them find their passions. I can’t wait for the summer to begin!
Meet Emma, AM Lead
Hi, I’m Emma! This is my second summer working at Amplify, and I’m excited to be the AM Lead this year. I grew up going to camp at Omaha Girls Rock in Nebraska, which sparked my love for empowering, youth-centric spaces. I recently graduated from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. When I’m not at Amplify, you can usually find me in the studio, experimenting with monotype, intaglio, and stone lithography printmaking.
