Learn an Instrument, Form a Band, Write a Song, Perform at the Showcase
At Amplify, kids have a fantastic time diving into the world of music. They get to learn an instrument (or get more skilled on one they already play), join forces with others to create a band, craft their own original songs, and showcase their talents on stage for the entire camp community. Whether it’s indie, pop, metal, folk, R&B, funk, blues – you name it, our camper bands explore every genre under the sun, embracing their authentic voices. No experience necessary. We meet youth where they are at and place them with kids in both their age cohort and skill level.
photography
Young visionaries learn extensive photography skills such as light and composition while creating a personal portfolio of thematic images based on self directed passions. Campers learn post production skills using editing tools like Photoshop and Lightroom, culminating in a vibrant slideshow set to music to be premiered at our camp showcase. No experience necessary. We meet youth where they are at and place them with kids in both their age cohort and skill level.
rock band intensive
Intermediate and higher levels of musicianship (min. of 2+ years) in your chosen instrument required to sign up for this immersive. Campers focus entirely on developing songwriting, arrangement, and collaborative skills in band practice. Play guitar, drums, bass, keys, sing, or bring an instrument from home. Instructors teaching RBI are expert multi instrumentalists, providing your camper with advanced skills and individual mentorship to take both their playing and your songwriting to the next level with other youth who are at a similar skill level and age group. Learn and perform an original and learn and perform cover songs.

Perform, direct and put together your own musical short with a group of peers. Our latest addition to Amplify’s dynamic immersives will fuel your passion for the stage, hone acting, singing, and dancing skills, and create unforgettable memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Learn acting, singing, dancing, directing, and much more in a supportive environment led by our skilled, enthusiastic mentors. Perform your musical at the end of camp in our professional black box theatre for all of camp + professionally filmed for you to share with anyone after camp.

leaders in training (lit) program
Amplify’s Leader in Training (LIT) program is an empowering adventure like no other, combining leadership development with the fun and creativity of camp. Over several weeks, LITs dive deep into what it means to lead, build community, and positively impact the world around them. With opportunities to design and lead electives, collaborate on camp-wide service projects, and participate in off-campus trips, LITs develop lifelong skills while forming tight-knit friendships. Whether your teen is new to Amplify or a returning camper, this program offers them the chance to grow, challenge themselves, and leave a lasting impact. To enroll, campers must submit a video application to demonstrate their leadership potential.
